Wall Street Is Not Main Street
Wall Street is in the news a lot today and many consider it a dirty word. However, it is important to remember that Wall Street is not Main Street, and as such should not be considered the pulse of the nation. Wall Street is where a lot of money is made, and it is also a marker for what is going on in the economy, but that does not mean that we should and must always keep her eyes trained on Wall Street.Never heard of this before? Get up to speed here.
As mentioned previously, Wall Street is not Main Street, and those interested in their own future should not keep their eyes completely locked into watching what goes on in the stock market. The best thing that people who spend more time on Main Street than working the stock markets can do is just keep on keeping on. What that means is that the average individual should continue to work their jobs to the best of their ability, and continue to say for rainy days.
A failure to do so might mean that no preparation has been made for those days when money is short, and so with everything that money can buy. Remember the Boy Scout motto “always be prepared”.
